Dr Sobiah Ghaffar is the joint Practice Principal of SA Smile, alongside her sister, Dr Ayesha Ghaffar.
Her clinical dental experience encompasses general dentistry, composite bonding, endodontics and Invisalign, with a special interest in training dentists. Seeing patients find their confidence and stable oral hygiene status is hugely rewarding for Dr Sobiah. Her choice to pursue dentistry was driven entirely by a desire to help others, and she is committed to mentoring to help the next generation of young dentists achieve the high level of proficiency required to be a patient-centric and responsible dentist.
She shares her sister’s passion for helping others in the local community, supporting projects to help disadvantaged individuals, such as the local food bank.
Dr Sobiah has been volunteering for the World Care Foundation, a grassroots 100% volunteer-led humanitarian UK-registered charity, since 2019. With her sister Ayesha and other members of the SA Smile clinical team, she travels to provide essential dental care to disadvantaged and vulnerable children and adults in Lebanon, Turkey and continues to look for other opportunities to help those in need.
